The goal of the Driftwood Swim Team is to instill in our children an understanding of teamwork, competitiveness, self-discipline and team spirit as well as enjoyment. We cannot run meets without the involvement of the swim team parents as judges, timers, etc. Parent participation is greatly appreciated by the Driftwood staff as well as swimmers.
Prerequisites for team participation are:
The swim team is open to members between the ages of 5 and 17.
Children 8 and under must be able to swim the length of the 25 yard pool
Children 9 and over must be able to swim 2 lengths of the 25 yard pool as well as be familiar with one additional swim stroke
Registration Fees:
First child in family $75.00
2nd child in family $65.00
3rd Child or additional $55.00
Registration fees cover the cost of swim team shirts, ribbons, trophies, team photo, staffing and end of season party

Practice:
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
4:00 to 5:00 pm youngest group
5:00 to 6:00 pm middle group
6:00 to 7:00 pm oldest group
Swim Meets are Tuesday and Thursday nights.
