There is a cabana maintenance list at the front desk at all times. Please notify the front desk of the cabana #, and specific problem. This means if there is a leak you must specify which room it is in and closest to whatever is near it(window, sink, shower, closet, sliding glass door). The item will be put on the list and taken care of in the order of urgency.

Due to safety concerns and numerous incidents of property damage, there will not be any alterations allowed in any of the cabanas by our members or outside contractors. Consequently, no tools of any nature will be permitted inside of the club. There will be no exceptions. Some examples of alterations are as follows: hanging of any pictures, installation of furniture that would require any screws or nails, tile or carpet alterations, ceiling fan installations, any electrical alterations, or hanging of chair brackets. Any alterations that are permitted may only be done by Driftwood personnel. Please contact Chely at the main office to schedule your cabana for alterations.There will be a charge of $50.00 per hour for such work.

The inside of the large cabanas should be wall to wall carpeting. We have a set price for carpet if you would like to replace your carpet. Please contact Chely at the main office so she can schedule you to have your carpet replacded. We have the style and color it should be. If there is a major leak and the carpeting is extremely wet we will use a machine to extract the water.

There are many cabanas in the club and it takes time to get to each one with a problem. It may take several days to get to your issue and we may have to wait for a part to come in that had to be ordered. There are also instances where we may fix something and it breaks again. Please notify the front desk of this. Every year is a new one so please, if you have requested something to be fixed last summer or several years ago please ask us this summer.

THERE IS NO PAINTING OF THE CABANAS.

The walls are cedar. The wood is designed to dry quickly in case of a leak and not to mold.

Screen, Closet, Front and Bathroom Doors

There will be a $50 fee charged to the cabana for anyone who breaks a slat on the doors trying to get in, screen doors that have to be fixed due to mishandling and bathroom doors. If we do not know which family in the cabana is solely responsible for the damage the responsible members will be charged and held responsible for cost.
