There is a cabana maintenance list at the front desk at all times.
Please notify the front desk of the cabana #, and specific problem.
This means if there is a leak you must specify which room it is in and
closest to whatever is near it(window, sink, shower, closet, sliding glass
door). The item will be put on the list and taken care of in the order of
urgency.
We are not responsible for cosmetics in the cabana such as
mirrors, cabinets, fixtures, and carpeting. If there is a major leak and
the carpeting is extremely wet we will use a machine to extract the
water. We have a phone number for a carpet company if you wish
to replace your carpet. The cost is the responsibility of the cabana
members. The inside of the large cabanas should be wall to wall
carpeting. We have the style and color it should be. If you put any
other type of carpet or anything like linoleum or tile in your cabana
we are not responsible for the replacement of it if it gets ruined. There
are many cabanas in the club and it takes time to get to each one with
a problem. It may take several days to get to your issue and we may
have to wait for a part to come in that had to be ordered.
There are
also instances where we may fix something and it breaks again.
Please notify the front desk of this. Every year is a new one so
please, if you have requested something to be fixed last summer
or several years ago please ask us this summer.
THERE IS NO PAINTING OF THE CABANAS
The walls are cedar. The wood is designed to dry quickly in case of
a leak and not to mold.
Screen, Closet, Front and Bathroom Doors
There will be a $50 fee charged to the cabana for anyone who
breaks a slat on the doors trying to get in, screen doors that have
to be fixed due to mishandling and bathroom doors. If we do not
know which family in the cabana is solely responsible for the
damage the head cabana person will be charged and held responsible
for collecting the money from their cabana mates.
