Chely Pina- General Manager
Chely will be returning to Driftwood for her third year as manager. Prior to that Chely has been with us, as a bookkeeper for 6 years. In her spare time Chely enjoys spending time with her family. She has three children; Michael who is 24, Jenn who is 22 and Diana who is 19. Both Jenn and Diana will be working in the office this year. Chely is glad to be back for another season. Chely is also bilingual so if you’d like to stop by and chat in Spanish you are more than welcome!

Richard Demaree- Head Lifeguard
Rich is very excited for this fifth season at Driftwood. This will be his first season as Head Guard and he looks forward to the experience. He attended Shore Regional High School where he was on the swim team and he is also an Eagle Scout from West Long Branch. He also has experience as a lifeguard at the Red Bank YMCA where he has been working for five years. He has been attending Brookdale College for two years and aspires to finish his A.A in Business before going on to a career in Mechanics. He hopes to ensure a fun and safe summer for everyone during this 2013 Driftwood summer.

Gavin- Snack Bar Manager
Gavin is a new edition to the Driftwood staff family. Gavin owned and operated the snack bar at the Allenhurst Beach Club for the past 17 summers. Gavin and his entire staff are excited to bring their years of snar bar experience to Driftwood. Stop by, say hello, and enjoy great tasting food with exceptional service!.

Fallon Quiles - Swim Coach
This is Fallon's second summer coaching our swim team. She swam competitively at Manalapan High School and at Seton Hall University. She is still competing as a member of NJ masters swimming throughout the year. Fallon graduated from Seton Hall with her teaching certification in Elementary and Special Education. She currently teaches at Old Bridge High School as a Special Education teacher. Fallon coached for Eastern Express swim team for two years after graduating from SHU, and now is the Marlboro High School head swim coach for both the boy's and girl's team. Fallon is very excited to be coaching again at the Driftwood Beach Club this summer.

Michael Monahan - Swim Instructor
Michael is back at Driftwood for 2013. Michael has been involved in the endurance sport world for well over 11 years. As an age group triathlete, Michael has competed in over 13 Ironman triathlon competitions, 4 Half-Ironman and 16 marathons. These experiences as an athlete, combined with a B.S. in Exercise Science and a personal training certification give Michael a very strong coaching background. Currently Michael is employed as a police officer in City Of Long Branch NJ assigned to the street crimes unit and in charge of the water safety team and the police explorer program. Michael also trains Multi-sport and swimming athletes for various competitions. As a swim coach he is interested in working with athletes of all ages and ability/goal levels.
